BENEFITS FOR CANDIDATES

 

Grand River Personnel has retained the services of Grand River Benefits to advise candidates who are interested in purchasing individual benefits, such as: health, travel and dental insurance, disability, critical illness and life insurance.

 

Pension advisory service is available to candidates who have a vested pension with previous employers that could be transferred to a locked-in RRSP. One of the benefits of this strategy is that after age 55, when the candidate purchases a LIF (Life Income Fund)  there is a one-time opportunity to withdraw up to 25% of the value of the account in cash (Ontario Regulation 416/07 made under the Pension Benefits Act).

 

Grand River Personnel is providing this as a seamless service option and any transactions are at the sole discretion of our candidates.

 

Why this service is offered to our candidates:

 

Candidates on contracts do not have benefits provided by their employers.

 

This service will simply and directly help you decide whether it makes sense for you to purchase health, travel and dental insurance, life, critical illness and disability insurance.
